    Featured Sites: REVIEW 3

    Nectarine
Want something simple? Need something that's easy to load? Check out Nectarine. They have a super clean and simple site that does its purpose very well. I like how they have the mouse over for each employee.

    Lessons of Trust
Welcome to the land of the weird. The actual design for this site is nice, but the movie "lessons of TR" is just... well I'd rather not say. Make sure you check it out for yourself. The animation is done very well, but the plot doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. There are some really cool designs under the projects link at the bottom, but make sure you see the movie!

    NeoStream
These guys are the masters of transitions. From one area to the next, you're not gonna be bored! Now this site is what I call eyecandy! Make sure you check out every section. My favoriate section is when you get to blow up the 3d fellow. They also have their first version of their site you can purchase, and the whack file!

    Check this Featured Sites 2.

    XSNext
While this site has the 2Advanced feel to it, the designers have done an excellent job creating a great interface for their users. The design is very clean, easy to navigate and all around aesthetically pleasing. I enjoyed the building of the site while each section loaded. I like how the "mechanical" pane closes for each section revealing a new picture.

    FlashDevMart

Here is a site that is very simple and clean, but displays a great design concept and a superb navigational scheme. Flash Dev Mart has some really neat ideas for those of you that get stumped along the way and need a cheap, but very professional design for certain parts of your projects. Notice when you mouse over the catalog button it brings a slight pull down to give you a sub navigation menu. It's similar to that of the Macromedia site, but has a much different look to it.

    Kentucky Symphony Orchestra

The Kentucky Symphony Orchestra site design is very professional yet artsy. The animation is so smooth I felt as if I were sitting in front of my television browsing the digital cable receiver. I really enjoyed seeing a ticking metronome used in the site design. This site is just one of those designs you need to see for yourself. It's really amazing how they have created an artistic feeling design through motion and sound.

  8. Featured Sites: Review 1

Hello, for every week i will post 3 featured sites for review. Random choose sites. Categories are: All - Flash - Flash/HTML - Expert - Experimental. Please visit this feature sites. Enjoy!!

    Drum Beat Digital (Flash/HTML)
DrumBeatDigital has done a great job making Flash look like, and flow perfectly with Static HTML. By using Flash, they were able to add 3 extra areas to the index page, which allows the user to view case studies of recent projects. If you view the case studies they are actually created in Flash to give DrumBeatDigital a chance to be more narrative with their presentation. I like how the next button flashed when they wanted you to view the next section Two key design elements of this site that really caught my eye were that the design looked more like a print project and that they tried to give the sections of the site a distinct feel with their color choices.

    I Wish I Had A Name (Flash)
Here is a site that does a great job of using masking for page transitions. I also thought that the index page was quite interesting. Instead of being your regular entry page, it's actually all Flash rather than your standard HTML splash design.

    Reason 2.5 Presentation (Flash)
They've done it. A top 10 Flash Intro. I not sure if it's the Flash or the music that intrigues me so much. This is the cutting edge of Flash presentations. It's flawless! The first time I watched it my mouth gaped open in awe from the beginning to the end. I now have the window open on my 2nd monitor just to watch it over and over while I'm working. This is definitely a must see for anyone interested in Flash at any level. I can't even start to describe the perfection, the timing, the over all feel. Just click the link already! As an avid Reason fan, they have taken the software to a new level and Flash Presentations with it. propellerheads.se/home/frankfurt2003/frankpop.htm

What do you think?? Nice..stay for next week featured sites.
